Boston University wins the NCAA men’s hockey championship in Washington, D.C.

Boston University beats Miami University of Ohio 4-3 in overtime at the Verizon Center. B.U. scores two goals in the last minute of regulation to tie the game and wins on a slap shot by Colby Cohen at 11:47 of the first overtime to win one of greatest collegiate hockey games ever. It is B.U.’s fifth national championship and first since 1995.
